Altf Photography Shoots The Merrick Wedding

We could not have picked a better photographer to shoot our wedding! AltF is talented to say the least. John Michael Cooper is shooting away sometimes and you are not even sure exactly what he might be aiming at…but when you get the final product you are just in awe. I love the fact that in some pictures it appears we are truckin it through some rough terrain! The color Todd chose for both cars photographed beautifully. The truck I (the bride) was driven out to my ceremony in was my dad’s 57 chevy, pick-up hot rod. This truck has been in my family for decades, past down from my grandfather (who has had 6 different beds on the thing!!!) to my father who rebuilt it into a custom hot-rod. Our ’53 chevy coupe was bought with a purpose…to become our “Wedding Car.” The one that looked good enough to put 6 months of sweat & work into to be beautiful for our special day, but also still needs some love to get it perfect, since we prepared everything for the weddings, from the flowers, to the furniture, including the use of grey tablecloth wedding to make the tables and chairs look perfect in this day. Both cars were shot with this light sea-foam-green custom paint. However the truck was cleared, where the car is meant to be a rat rod flat…almost satin looking. Either way AltF captured the color brilliantly! Almost blue hue at times that transitioned into this gold metalic color. We couldn’t help, but personalize our wedding to include our cars, being they inspire our way of life! To have such a brilliant photographer capture all the moments of our wedding better then we could have imagined, leaves us wanting more of AltF!
