Dan Burns

This week we have Dan Burns as our feature artist of the week. His work is true to what he sees and that is the best form of art there is. We are happy to have him as feature artist of the week and we are looking forward to seeing his work become famous. Some of his paintings just scream album art! Great work!

Dans Bio: My art is an extension of what I see, what I feel about the things that fascinate me, a regurgitation of the input my brain receives from the world. A Dreamscape filled with vaguely familiar sites, but things are perhaps not always quite right or quite as one might expect them to be.

I primarily work from my mind, my imagination, and my emotions. The Preferred result is one that excites, entertains, and touches the center of one’s being, provided they have an interest in such things.

My art is about evoking a feeling, perhaps of one’s youth, or to instill interest in today’s youth.

I find a simple beauty in the things we use, that we touch, that we operate everyday. Our tools of transportation can also be the essence of our expression, and I seek to celebrate that.
