Jenny Kamoschinski, (aka Jenny Kamo) is the visual artist behind White Wave Studios, in Vancouver, B.C.. A newcomer to the photography scene, her career started off in graphic arts when one day, she borrowed a camera from a friend and realized she has an eye for taking photos. Lover of live music, she started shooting at gigs and then taking group shots for bands. May 2009 she joined Model Mayhem where she arranged her first bike shoot with a friends Harley. Since then she has been working the classic car and bike scene getting published in magazines such as Car Kulture Deluxe, Retro Lovely and Build Magazine. People who also love art and design may enjoy learning about online colleges. Those of you who aspire to be like Jenny may enjoy classes.
In September 2010 she decided to take a step closer to her dreams, quit her job and opened up White Wave Studios, where she runs the visual department including photography, graphic deign and web design.
Her work displays a mix of vintage and modern edge. A combination of the camera and artistic design, from set to the post photo finishing process. Not limiting herself to the type of photo she will produce. “This is a very exciting time, and it will reflect in my work”.
Stay tuned for new work and publications in 2011. Her goal is to shoot from the heart … “It’s a feeling, I shoot what I feel in that moment in time, with who I’m shooting with”. Watch for her traveling to your city perhaps shooting at rock shows, at the races or looking for new talent to collaborate with.
