This week we bring you a platinum blonde bombshell, Amy DeLaCroux. Ms. DeLaCroux has a risque style and not afraid to show the camera her seductive side! In her short modeling career you may have already spotted her on a cover. Against the odds she once thought would hold her back turned out to be one of her desired features, her collection of stunning tattoos. Amy embraced her look and made her career modeling a success!
Her Bio: My name is Amy DeLaCroux and I’m 25 years old. I was born, raised, and I still reside in San Diego, California. I’m from Scandinavian decent and have been internationally published in countries such as Czechoslovakia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Puerto Rico, and of course the United States. I have been modeling about two years now. I do pin up, Playboy style nudes, glamour, tattoo, and alternative modeling. Pin up is definitely one of my favorite styles to model. The poses and looks come natural to me and I love how sexy and naughty I can be but in a classy way. I got interested in pin up modeling because of my boyfriend. He used to have the hot rod magazines laying around at home, and I would look at the girls posing with the cars and thought “I really want to do that!” One time a stylist skeptically asked me if I truly enjoyed pin up modeling. Ummmm, why wouldn’t I?!
I first got into modeling from a former friend, who is a makeup artist. She wanted me to model for her portfolio, and I was really skeptical. I really didn’t want to do it at first. I thought, me model? I have tattoos and at the time my hair was really short so by no means was I super glamorous or had the look of a “runway model”. I reluctantly agreed and ended up having a great time shooting, and the rest is pretty much history. My goal was to get on the cover of one tattoo magazine. I didn’t care which magazine, just one, any one, and then I would stop modeling after that I told myself. I got that magazine cover photo shoot within 3 months of my modeling career, and instantly I knew this is something I would want to do for a long time. I love collaborating with photographers, stylists, and wardrobe designers to come up with fresh and unique concepts.
Most of the magazines I have been in are tattoo publications. A lot of people think certain things of me because I have tattoos. One of those things is that I am a wild girl, but it’s the exact opposite. I don’t live a very exciting life! My fast driving, my modeling, and my tattoos are probably the only “wild” things about me. I don’t like spicy foods, I don’t like roller coasters or heights, and I am afraid to ride a motorcycle. Plus, I’m an early bird. You’ll rarely find me staying up past nine o’clock at night unless it’s a weekend and I’m out and about…and even then I’m still yawning. Another thing people think of me when they see my tats is that I am a tough girl. Just because someone has tattoos doesn’t necessarily mean that they are hard and tough. I am a very down to earth and genuine person, and have never been in a fist fight. I’m very sensitive, and at times I think I’m a bit dorky. I love to make people laugh with my corny sense of humor. I can get pretty silly sometimes!!
