Photographer Paul Swanson aka (Swanee)

This week we are proud to Feature Paul Swanson aka Swanee as our Featured Artist. His photography has a very noticeable style, when you see it you know he took it. His photos show up all over the internet and you may even run into pics he took of your car…I did about a year ago and that’s how we started talking.

About the Artist from the Artist: My love for automobiles dates back to when I was a kid collecting hotwheels, car posters, magazine, and CarToons clippings and posting them all over my walls. I also enjoyed building model cars, trucks, vans, and motorcycles (and every now and then I still do). I even enjoyed drawing them as a kid, man what I would give to have all my old drawings again. Also my stepfather was a transmission mechanic and a bush pilot. So I pretty much grew up around the shop and grease.

I now use a digital camera and photoshop to express my artistic love for automobiles. And have plans take it to the next level. I consider myself a Experimental Photographer, I love to shoot what I find interesting. Born in northern Cali (1968) and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and now residing in Scottsdale, Arizona. In real life I’m a residential solar system designer & service tech, electrician specializing in lighting controls and automation. And I have been shooting for myrideisme.com an on-line magazine and community for the past 3 yrs covering events in the southwest region, loving every minute of it.
