This week we are proud to feature Amy Golden as our pinup of the week! She’s old school class with a twist of rockabilly, and has a unique style that is sure to go far in the pinup world!
Her Bio: Born April, 1984 in Del Rey Oaks, CA
In kindergarten, little Amy Golden’s mom took her to a hearing test upon the encouragement of Amy’s stressed out teacher who was sure Amy just couldn’t hear her. Amy’s consistent loudness suggested she did not understand how to control the volume of her own voice: hence her teacher’s rudimentary diagnosis. After a through exam, the doctor assured her mom that Amy’s hearing was just fine- it was Amy’s desire to be heard above all others that keep her loud and her even stronger desire to be in the spotlight that kept her from listening to anyone but the superstar in her head. Thus a star was born.
Amy continued upon a path you often hear about in show business. At a very young age she began pursuing acting opportunities on stage and in television and began getting interested in pin-up modeling after a few years as a teacher lead her into a totally different career- but one that would launch the Amy Golden empire: hip hop radio. Amy began on the “street team”- a volunteer squad of kids who run around town promoting the radio station and the superstar way of life. Amy was hooked and very quickly worked her way up to assistant program manager and midday on-air star of the #2 rated show in the area. Amy began taking pictures in such genres as pin-up and rockabilly, and spokesperson modeling.
Amy is currently the production manager and afternoon on-air personality for 95.3 the Beach in Pismo Beach, CA and travels up and down the Central Coast doing modeling and MC events. Recently married to the love her of her life and head of security, G- he is never far from his beautiful wife’s side. Amy’s inner social-butterfly and desire to please make her the ideal model and host. Her genuine desire to bring smiles to the faces of those around her not only make her shine but ensure her star will remain bright for years to come.
